The DLCs (particularly the last one) does answer a question or two that you might have had, but I would say that they're a bit weaker in quality because the first two retread some of the same areas and don't bring a whole lot new to the table. It's somewhat of a mystery though there are some metaphors you might be able to glean from what you find. You are so tiny while the rest of this world is large and looming, and you'll find distorted humans and other odd creatures. ![]() The sound and music overall are strong in painting a creepy atmosphere, along with the difference in dimensions between yourself and everything else. It's clear the game has some inspiration from those games, but what's designed is a bit different. People seem to commonly bring up LIMBO and INSIDE. The art style is somewhat cartoon-like in a way, though that may not be the right word, and it helps paint a weirdly grotesque view for the horrors you come across.
